Festival Eritrea July 2026

Festival Eritrea UK 18-19 July 2026 was an amazing festival that brought people together to celebrate Eritrean culture, music, dancing and community. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was exciting and full of energy. There were lots of people enjoying themselves, spending time with friends and family, and proudly celebrating their Eritrean heritage.

One of my favourite parts of the festival was the entertainment. The music was lively, and the performances kept everyone interested.

The highlight for me was seeing the EYC Cultural Group perform an amazing traditional dance called Hidared[Bdaweat] representing one of the nine ethnic groups of Eritrea.

Their performance was full of energy, confidence and excitement. The dancers moved together really well, and the audience was clearly enjoying every moment. Their dancing created an incredible atmosphere and made the festival even more memorable. It was definitely one of the moments that stood out to me the most.

I also really enjoyed seeing Eritrean culture being celebrated throughout the festival. It was great to see people wearing traditional clothes, enjoying the music and coming together as a community. The festival showed how important culture and traditions are and gave everyone a chance to celebrate them proudly.

Another great thing about Eri Fest was the friendly atmosphere. People of different ages were there, which made the festival feel welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. It was a great place to spend time with friends and family, make memories and have fun together. There was always something happening, so there was never a boring moment. I loved the music, dancing, performances, culture and amazing atmosphere. Although there were a few things that could have been organised better, they did not stop me from having a fantastic time. I would definitely recommend Eri Fest to anyone who wants to experience Eritrean culture and enjoy exciting live entertainment.
